Opening hours
Core hours are 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. I will happily look after your child outside those hours by prior arrangement, but may charge a higher hourly rate.

Costs
Childminding in core hours is charged at £4.50 per hour, payable in advance before the first of the month. Snacks are included in this price.  I can provide a nutritious home made lunch at 12:30 and dinner at 5:30; these are charged at £1.50 per meal. Parents are asked to supply nappies and wipes, if applicable.

Holidays
Allithwaite Childminding is open for at least 48 weeks of the year.

I close for the Christmas holidays and part of the Easter break. I reserve the right to close on other days and will always aim to give at least a month’s notice.

I am available on bank holidays by prior arrangement, and charge a higher hourly rate. Parents are expected to pay the usual fees if they are on holiday or their child is ill when the business is open. If the business is closed due to holidays or illness then no charge will be made.
